My five button Dell premium mouse won’t work with Firefox but it did earlier, could someone help?

I have Windows Vista (grrrr) and my five button mouse won’t let me go froward or back a page in Firefox. It did yesterday but for some reason it quit working. Could someone give me a way that I could use to ensure it will always work?

How do you download firefox 3 on an ASUS EEPC?

I download it but how to install it I just have the folder but I dont know if it is installed or not?
