Why won’t google reader work with my Firefox 3?

I recentley switched to firefox 3, and had a google reader account, but now when I try to load up google reader on fire fox it won’t load. It just goes to a white page with the google reader logo at the top and says done at the bottom but with nothing on the screen.
- Is there and add on i need to download?…. link please
-Is this a common problem?

Can someone tell me the benefits of running a company like Mozilla firefox,Google promoting Orkut etc?

How do i get firefox google start page into english?
