I have tried a code for scroll box that works in Internet explorer but doesnt work in Firefox. Does anyone know about this and can help me please?

Has anyone tried to use the Firebug plug-in with the new release candidate version of FireFox 3? The add-in site makes it seem like it’s not compatible, but the Firebug site doesn’t. Has anyone tried it?

I just messed up with settings in security tab, does anybody know the default settings, what boxes should be checked and not?

And also is there a button or something to make all the settings of firefox 3 go back to default, when I first installed it?

I’m using Macromedia Dreamweaver mx 2004 (7) and this problem does not occur in IE6 but it does in the latest version of firefox. Say you draw a layer and put some text in. The background of the layer has a different color than your page background. You view it in firefox and the layer is where you put it but the text in it is running off the layer, say one line down from where it should be. How can I get around this problem? Everything else is where it should be and the one line layers have no problem. Just the layers that have 2 lines or more are running off the layer a line down from where they should be. Thanks!

Is there a certain way borders should be coded in Firefox?

For example, here’s what I used for 2 borders in my css:

BORDER-RIGHT:cc0099 10px solid;
BORDER-TOP:cc0099 10px solid;

But when the page is opened with Firefox, the borders don’t show up at all!
I don’t have the # in front of the color because with MYSPACE it won’t show up, and it shows is as an error. With MYSPACE you have to put the color without the #.

So no, I DONT mean #cc0099!

There is the source code to what I’m trying to do.
The image files are on my computer, and the page looks beautiful – exactly as planned when I open it in internet explorer. When I try to open it in firefox though, I see no images at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is what happened – I step away from my computer for a moment (while it is installing a new version of Flash so I can watch a video online). When I come back, Firefox has opened a window to a website called Noobflicks (a Counter Strike video site apparently). However, I never navigated to this site. Does anyone have any explanation for this? Should I be worried about my computer’s security?
